Shri Rajgopal Ji Maharaj Mandir

Thakur Rajgopalji Maharaj Virajman Mandir, Madanpur is dedicated to Rajgopalji Maharaj (a form of Lord Vishnu) and Ammaji (a form of Radharani). Located in Block Madanpur, tehsil Sirsaganj, district Firozabad, Uttar Pradesh, India, it stands as a pillar of faith for countless devotees.

The presiding idol is crafted from sacred Ashthadhatoo (eight metals). It is deeply believed that the Lord fulfills the wishes of anyone who surrenders before Him with a true and pure heart.

"The mandir was constructed in the year 1871 by the dedicated efforts of Sri Lala Kuwar Lal Mathur after he dreamt of Rajgopalji Maharaj as his own son. Belonging to the Mathur Royal Landlord family of Madanpur, the temple has ever since been lovingly maintained, administered, and run by the Mathur family for generations."

Architectural Marvel

As one of the largest temples in the entire Firozabad District, the structure is a unique harmony of North and South Indian Architectural Engineering. It is built strictly on the traditional principles of Vastu, modeled after the renowned Ranganathaswami Temple in Shrirangapatna, Karnataka.

Vedic Traditions & Festivals

It is one of the very few temples in India where regular festivals are celebrated and all traditions and rituals are performed precisely according to prescribed Vedic norms. This spiritual purity attracts people from nearby villages and towns to visit and seek the blessings of Raj Gopal Ji Maharaj.
